Last night Coco and I grabbed a last minute bite at Buvette in the West Village. If you are a single lady, you must go. The bartender there looks like a Hot French Jake Gyllenhaal.. Oh, and Anne Hathway was having dinner there with her fiance, Adam Shulman. He’s short and she’s equine.
But, I digress.. The point of this post is to discuss the special at Buvette last night, Hachis Parmentier. It’s a French shepard’s pie. Buvette’s had gruyere cheese in theirs but I couldn’t find a recipe that matched.. I did find this one on La Tartine Gourmande. Enjoy this gluten free savory treat.
I’ve had shepard’s pie many times before… but never anything that looked as good as this.
