TV: The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills now makes me feel morally corrupt….

Watching last night’s “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” made me feel like a bad person. I really like Andy Cohen but as the Executive Producer, he should have cut this whole Taylor Armstrong story line. If I were Russell Armstrong’s family, I’d be livid.

Whether Russell abused Taylor or not, there is a young child involved. Kennedy not only has to grow up knowing her father killed himself but also aired footage of her mother acting like a loon and her mother’s friends discussing the abuse in her family.

Last night’s episode about Kennedy’s 5th birthday was just sad… Her mom was flirting with that guy Ace, from American Idol, her dad was being a control freak dick and her mom’s friends all were wondering, “what the eff is Taylor doing if her husband abuses her the way she says he does?” That is just NOT right.

Sometimes I think we lose sight of the fact that these shows might be staged but the drama involved is for real.

Tsk, Tsk to myself for watching and to Bravo for airing the season. As much as I enjoy the other women and their story lines, I’m going to have to take this show off my DVR rotation. What once was a guilty peasure now makes me feel morally corrupt.
