Yesterday I received my first A GIRL NAMED BONG press pass at the Sobe “Try Everything” event in Madison Square Park. I don’t think I’ve ever been happier. I feel like it was the motivation I needed to take the next step with zee blog.. If it weren’t for the mouse escapade, I might still be on cloud-9.
Now, I have never tried Sobe water, have you? Bullsh*t and I did a taste test with a fleet of Sobe products at the event. We were OBSESSED with the Sobe Green Tea and Citrus Energy. Next time you need a thirst quencher I highly recommend you try one of these two.
Also, should you ever be invited to a Sobe event, def RSVP yes… They had tons of fun stuff to do (like silk screen your own t-shirts, make your own button-pins, a camera and video to see what you’d look like with all these funny electronic disguises (for instance, when I was in front of the camera the first disguise to come up was a big bushy beard.. I looked hysterical and had I wanted all my Facebook friends to see, I could’ve uploaded the picture directly from the screen) and finally THE FOOD.. Mini burgers and cones of fries, mini quesadillas, pulled pork and grilled cheese with watercress.. SO YUM!
Oh, and had I wanted to, I could’ve had my picture taken with either Hilary Duff or Jessica Szohr (pictured below).. So much fun.
Hilary Duff is short. When I showed up she was still in this outfit of James Jeans, neon bra under white tank but had on five inch wedges. I was still taller than she was. Her engagement ring is BEYOND as well. That 14ct princess cut looked like a cocktail ring it was so big.
Wait, I like this outfit and it's not the one she had on when I showed up.. I guess after this photo call she chaned into red jeans, closed toe-highheels which ribboned around the ankles, a black sheer vest thingy that was long (like to the ground) in front and short in back and a blazer.. It was an AWFUL OUTFIT! And her extensions look worse in true life. That said, whilst waiting for Bullsh*t, I noticed Jessica playing with a little baby and she couldn't seem more sweet.
