For a hot second I thought about doing the Dukan Diet.. I mean, how can you not be inspired by the Middleton women, who were rumored to have Dukan’d it for the Royal Wedding. Then I read the diet and realized THAT AIN’T HAPPENING.. I’m sorry, two days of only low-fat protein.. and then plain low-fat protein and veggies for like a zillion days? NOT SO MUCH!
So, I decided I’d just try to eat healthy. CUTBACK on the chips and ADD more healthy things like Quinoa.. Which is why I made Jessica Seinfeld’s Quinoa, Zucchini and Toasted Walnut Pilaf. Don’t get me wrong, the recipe is perfectly good.. IT WAS JUST SUPER HEALTHY… I feel like if she added a little French feta, the dish would be so much better and not that bad for you.. That said, IS THIS WHAT HER KIDS EAT ALL THE TIME? If so, that can’t be normal. It’s way too healthy. That said, I feel like I need to try her other recipes to give a proper review.. This Quinoa recipe could be a one-off.
