READ: Gregory David Roberts, SHANTARAM….

I used to be a reader.. Like, I’d read a book a week.. Then, I stopped. I don’t know where the time goes.. I work, I blog, I have a social life, I attempt to go to the gym, I cook… It’s to the point that I can’t even read the magazines on my bedside table.. When I told Lady V this she was SHOCKED.. She know’s what an avid reader I am and how much I thoroughly enjoy losing myself in a good book.. She suggested I picked up Shantaram. Below is her synopsis…

An Australian prison escapee who discovers personal redemption in Bombay. He is on serious mission to find himself. The book shares many spiritual commentaries/food for thought. Including:
“Personality and personal identity are in some ways like co-ordinates on the street map drawn by our intersecting relationships. We know who we are and we define what we are by references to the people we love and our reasons for loving them.”

Lady V, if it is available on iBooks, I will read it in Montecito.. That and Keith Richard’s book.
