Lady V asked me the other day what is appropriate attire for a black tie wedding? For men, it’s obvious, a tux.. For women, not so much. It used to be de rigeur to wear long gowns to anything black tie. Nowadays, it seems women can get away with a fancy cocktail dress.. What do you think slash prefer?

If it’s at night definitely a longer dress. Overall if the invite says black tie I’m still a traditionalist that believes women should be wearing a longer dress.
